NEW YORK CITY — CockyBoys has announced the release of “Flea Pit,” a collaboration with Bruce LaBruce. The feature stars Levi Karter, Arad Winwin, Dato Foland and Valentin Braun in a theater orgy.

“LaBruce has built a career exploring themes of sexual and interpersonal transgression against cultural norms. He's known for frequently blending the artistic and production techniques of independent film with gay pornography, not unlike CockyBoys' owner and acclaimed director Jake Jaxson,” publicist Davyd Dixion said. “Bruce La Bruce comes to pornography with a clear sense of revolution — queer revolution. Gay pornography may be the last bastion of true, queer radicalism.”

CockyBoys debuted “Flea Pit” on their membership site and at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, where Jaxson did a livestreamed Q&A.

Jaxson gushed about LaBruce's work, explaining that its importance in his life signalled a shift away from his upbringing. "I feel like I always wanted to be Bruce LaBruce. In college I was this sheltered white, conservative, religious Southerner. And this guy was so cool and the movies he was making were so out there and audacious.

"I have always loved Bruce's work. There was just so much about it that was irreverent and so wrong and it always stuck with me and, more importantly, inspired my work and path as a director. Now, almost 25 years later, I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with this unapologetic ‘cult’ filmmaker.”
