Michael Klein Joins Gamma to Lead New Broadcasting Unit

MONTREAL — Industry veteran executive Michael Klein has been tapped to lead Gamma Entertainment’s new broadcasting and licensing division.

Klein is a former head at Playboy and Hustler and most recently was president of Vivid Entertainment, where he managed the company’s broadcast and internet divisions, specifically Vivid TV and the Vivid.com and VividCelebs.com websites.

The Los Angeles-based Klein made his mark in adult at Hustler after he floated the ideas of a Hustler TV and a video-on-demand enterprise to the company’s founder, Larry Flynt, who hired him at their first meeting.

Klein will join Gamma on Monday, Oct. 30, and will be tasked to add a new broadcasting business to the Gamma portfolio.

"Gamma is of course a company that I have known and respected for years with tons of great new content shot every month that would work perfectly in the broadcasting medium,” Klein told XBIZ.

“I am really excited to get in there and work with the team to bring a new robust adult broadcasting product to the marketplace."

Gamma Entertainment was founded in 1996 by its president, Karl Bernard, and operates through various partnerships such leading adult brands as Fame Dollars, Buddy Profits, Blazing Bucks, Pornication Cash and Porn Access.

The company’s original content unit, Gamma Films, operates under the brands Girlsway, Pure Taboo, Fantasy Massage and 21st Sextury.
