Gaelic WWW Conference Becomes ASACP In-Kind Media Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced Gaelic WWW Conference as its newest In-Kind Media Sponsor.

The 2017 Gaelic WWW Conference is set for June 19-21 at the Glenview Hotel in Wicklow, Ireland. According to its promoters, the event offers a simple win-win situation where webmasters, media buyers and sellers, program partners, service providers and more, can carve out, in a comfortable environment, the industry’s common ground for growth.

“We are happy to support ASACP with our webmaster conference in Ireland, as child protection is one of the most important tasks in our days,” states Roland Grotheer, founder, and CEO of Imob Traffic Ltd. and the Gaelic WWW Conference. “Companies working in the adult business have a very special responsibility and we are facing this challenge.”

“Let’s face it, we all need to work with both trust and respect together,” Grotheer adds. “Let us look forward together and talk about the path the journey takes and how we can best manage it jointly in a wonderful location in Ireland.”

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning says the association is grateful for the support it is receiving from the Gaelic WWW Conference and encourages other companies to step up and take a stand against online child exploitation while working to protect children online.

“The Gaelic WWW Conference provides a new opportunity for ASACP to reach out to digital media professionals on the frontline of the need for online child protection,” Henning explains. “By reaching this audience with our messages of corporate and social responsibility, and the importance of keeping children out of and away from adult-oriented materials, ASACP and its generous sponsors help make the internet a safer place.”

ASACP uses the support it receives from its sponsors to fund initiatives such as its internationally recognized Child Exploitation Tipline, which has processed more than one million CP reports since its inception; along with ASACP’s multiple award-winning Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta labeling system that helps prevent children’s access to adult-oriented web pages and apps; plus market-specific Best Practices, a Code of Ethics, and more.
