Bella Vendetta to Premiere 'Training of Poe' Scenes at Hampshire College

LOS ANGELES — Bella Vendetta will show three selected scenes from her directorial debut, “The Training of Poe,” at the “Five College Queer Gender and Sexuality Conference” held at Hampshire College in Western Mass.

Vendetta will discuss the title’s origins, how it showcases communication and consent culture, the politics behind the title and harm reduction in BDSM play.

“I can't think of a more perfect place for the film to show in public for the first time, or a more perfect audience for it,” Vendetta said.

She has been involved with the “5 College Queer Gender and Sexuality Conference” before, teaching cross contamination, disinfection and harm reduction for “kinksters.” At this conference, the audience will be able to ask questions, make comments and purchase the title.

“The next few weeks are really busy for me,” Vendetta added. “I am also teaching my harm reduction class at the conference, and then teaching it the week after that for the Western Massachusetts Power Exchange. The ‘5 College Conference’ is really a special event and it's also free. I encourage folks from the Western Mass. area to check out all it has to offer.”
