Houston's Darling Way to Hold 'Pleasure 101' Workshop This Weekend

HOUSTON — Adult boutique Darling Way will launch its Erotic Education Series this Saturday, Jan. 7 from 7-9 p.m. with the workshop “Pleasure 101,” which will feature sex therapists Jane Bintz and Eliza Boquin. Darling Way is located at 3423 White Oak Dr. in Houston.

“As we well know, sensual awareness can often be the difference between simply living and being alive,” said Darling Way Owner Beth Liebling. “At Darling Way, we believe our bodies are the greatest gift we receive in life, and our mission is to help people find respectful and healthy means of enjoying the pleasures so offered.”

Liebling said, “At this event, we will identify and address all of the factors involved in embracing pleasure: namely, the mind, the body and the heart. Our guest workshop leaders will offer practical information and ideas about how each of us must allow or disallow pleasure, and how to recognize ways in which we do so. Attendees will leave with insights and ideas about what they would like to bring into their lives this year, as well as how they can make it happen.”

Bintz and Boquin are members of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and Bintz is also a member of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF).

“We live in a fast-paced, demand-driven, stress-inducing world,” said Darling Way. “Making time to experience pleasure often becomes an additional stressor, and erotic sexual pleasure seems impossible to attain. If you feel disconnected from your sexual self and are tired of feeling the pleasure void, then join us for ‘Pleasure 101.’ Bring all the questions you ever wanted to ask about sexuality, orgasm and sexual pleasure, and be prepared to walk away with new learned skills.”

Registration for “Pleasure 101” costs $35 in advance or $50 at the door. To register, visit this link.
