CockyBoys Releases Music Video for One Erection's 'Sticky Face'

NEW YORK — CockyBoys has announced the release of the music video and single “Sticky Face” on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and Google Play.

The single and music video, directed by Jake Jaxson, was released as part of CockyBoys’ boy band parody "One Erection: The (un)Making of a Boy Band," and was released by Paper Magazine's Mickey Boardman online.

Last year, CockyBoys CEO Jake Jaxson teamed up with Chi Chi LaRue to co-direct and create a project together. Billboard Magazine had just written a feature about LaRue recording a song with RuPaul, and asked why there were not more porn/pop crossovers. LaRue said that the CockyBoys were basically porn's boy band; that's when, according to a spokesperson, “the light bulb went off in Jaxson's head, and ‘One Erection’ was born.”

“One Erection: The (un)Making of a Boy Band” is CockyBoys' first foray into porn parody. It was released as a web series in five parts exclusively on CockyBoys.com. All episodes are now live, and the DVD is now available exclusively at TLAGay.

“One Erection” was shot as a mocumenatry, with filmmakers following the boy band New Direction and their adoring fans calling them One Erection. The boy band been positioned by its management as straight when in fact, all of the members are gay.

Jaxson said, "This project has taken on a life of its own, and I'm thrilled by how much attention it has received both in and outside the adult space. This single and music video started out as a one-line joke in our film, and as we kept spitballing the idea, it became clear to me we could make something that sounded like any other boy band track — and we had a talented cast who could pull it off, and they did. ‘Sticky Face‘ is brilliantly performed by Levi Karter, Tayte Hanson, Kody Stewart, Liam Riley and Allen King.…. I can never thank them enough for giving me such unique and unreserved creativity. This is and will always be the essence of our work."

LaRue said, “I know music video and have even been in my fair share of videos, from Madonna to Prince — and One Erection's music video for ‘Sticky Face’ is ChiMazing."
