Joanna Angel, Asa Akira to Host 'Porn Talk' at The Stockroom

LOS ANGELES — Two of the biggest names in adult filmmaking — Joanna Angel and Asa Akira — will host “Porn Talk,” a provocative Q&A panel slated for Saturday at The Stockroom in Los Angeles.

The open panel will be moderated by sex educator and media personality Hudsy Hawn and is part of The Stockroom's ongoing series — called Stockroom University — at the store that addresses scores of “adults-only” topics.

The performers will offer a two-hour class at the Stockroom University to discuss the ins and outs of sex work and the often misunderstood industry that they represent.

Angel, a performer and co-owner of BurningAngel.com, which launched in 2002, is revered for popularizing the alt-porn niche.

Akira, who entered the industry in 2006 and has been filmed in more than 500 adult films, is a Wicked Pictures contract star. She was recognized as Female Performer of the Year in 2012 at the XBIZ Awards.

"We are there to answer any questions about anything … sex, porn, relationships, anal, fitness, health," Angel said. "And Asa is happy to give any advice on gardening and candle making. We encourage fans and friends to come out."

Angel and Akira will also be on hand after the panel for a meet and greet with fans. Angel's specialty line of erotic novelties will be available at the store for sale.

The Stockroom is located at 2811 W. Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and admission to the “Porn Talk” Q&A panel is $10. Tickets for the 2 p.m. Saturday event are available at The Stockroom’s website.
