Evil Angel Stars, Directors to Walk for AIDS Charities

LOS ANGELES — Evil Angel has announced that a team of conscientious adult stars and producers will hit the streets on Oct. 23 for the 32nd annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles.

Attending filmmakers and talent include John Stagliano, Aiden Starr, Jillian Janson, Callie Klein, Dahlia Sky, Francesca Le, Mark Wood and Toni Ribas, along with Evil Angel office staff. Additional company directors are collecting donations as “virtual walkers.”

2016 marks Evil Angel’s eighth year in the 10-kilometer (6.2 mile) fundraiser, which benefits AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and more than 20 additional L.A. County AIDS service organizations.

Celebrity guests, musical artists, elected officials, AIDS activists and thousands of caring people will be participating at the event’s new location, Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles. Evil Angel encourages others to join their team for an inspirational day filled with energy, excitement, hope and determination to build an AIDS-free generation.

Every year, AIDS Walk L.A. — the world’s first AIDS Walk — raises awareness of the epidemic and funds for the cure. In 2014, an estimated 44,073 people were diagnosed with HIV in the United States. The number of new diagnoses fell 19 percent from 2005 to 2014. Because HIV testing has remained stable or increased in recent years, this decrease in diagnoses suggests a true decline in new infections. The decrease may be due to targeted HIV prevention efforts, but there is still no cure. 

To register and/or donate for the cause, visit the Team Evil page and click the red “Join Our Team” button. Participants can track their progress and make donations in the name of their favorite Evil Angel AIDS Walk team member. The studio is also offering limited special incentives to donors contributing $100 or more, on a first come, first served basis.

To register by phone, call the AIDS Walk office at (213) 201-WALK (9255) and use "Evil Angel — 1675" during registration. The studio invites participants to show their support by walking with their team, raising funds or donating at least a small sum. Family and friends are also welcome to register and walk with the team.
