Megacams Adds Facial Recognition to Search Engine

MECHELEN, Belgium — Megacams has announced the addition to facial recognition technology to its search engine.

A spokesperson for Megacams, describing their facial recognition feature, said, “You are able to upload an image of a person you know and find a doppelganger cam performer who looks like this person. As facial recognition technology is evolving at the speed of light, we thought it was time to implement this technology on Megacams and are the first live cam sex website to do so. A lot of people watching porn have someone in mind and try to fulfill this fantasy by finding a doppelganger doing porn. Searching for it using textual searches is very hard; that’s where technology comes in. Facial recognition is far more accurate than any textual search could be.”

Megacams, based in Mechelen, Belgium, said it “currently has a database with over 180,000 cam performers and has approximately 5000 cam performers simultaneously online at any one time. The face recognition algorithm is trained with cam performer images when they are online; so this algorithm is improving minute after minute.”

Megacams described itself as “a live sex search engine that includes multiple sites like Chaturbate, Bongacams, Livejasmin, XLovecam, Xcams and Camgasm all on one site. The model live streams are watched and analyzed by our internal team, and the models are placed into the correct categories — hair color, skin type, bust size — so you can fine-tune to a cam girl that meets your request. Having all this data makes it easy to find your type of cam performer.”
