ASACP Welcomes YNOT Group as its Newest In-Kind Media Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced that the YNOT Group (YNOT) has become its newest In-Kind Media Sponsor.

A non-profit organization celebrating 20 years of success, ASACP offers online businesses a formal Code of Ethics and market segment specific Best Practices, while its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta label works with filtering software to help prevent a minor’s unauthorized access to adult-oriented websites and mobile apps. ASACP also operates an award winning Child Exploitation Tipline that has processed more than one million reports of suspected CP — with all of these services made possible through the generous financial support of its sponsors.

According to the company, the YNOT brand was founded in 1996, with a goal of providing website developers with a central hub where they could network and promote ethical business practices in what was then a largely lawless internet. Today the company offers a variety of B2B services for adult businesses anchored by its flagship website YNOT.com, providing industry news, forums and more.

These services include the YNOT Europe blog, photojournalism site YNOT Shoot Me, the YNOT Cam blog and hosted email marketing and delivery platform YNOT Mail, as well as several annual events, such as the YNOT Karting Grand Prix and YNOT Awards Show.

“YNOT has always applauded the efforts of ASACP to make the internet (and the industry) a safer place,” says YNOT Group, LLC co-owner Jay Kopita. “We are thoroughly pleased to make our support official and public.”

For its part, the association is grateful for the increasing level of support it is receiving from YNOT, from helping to get out the call for more industry support, to its direct fundraising efforts as well.

For example, later this month at The European Summit in Prague, the YNOT Group will generously support ASACP at its popular YNOT Karting Grand Prix, on Tuesday, September 20, from 6-9 p.m.; and at the YNOT Awards Show, on Wednesday, September 21, from, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., where an ASACP funding drive video will be shown.

“As ASACP copes with a smaller budget and the increasing costs of carrying out our core missions, the support we receive from our media partners has become even more important than ever,” explains ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning. “They serve as a vital link in getting out our message of proactive corporate responsibility and the importance of protecting vulnerable youth.”

“We thank Jay and the YNOT team for aiding us in our time of need,” Henning added. “They are setting a prime example for other companies to follow , while helping to raise industry awareness of our critical and never-ending mission of protecting children by keeping them out of and away from adult entertainment.”

For more information on how your company can help protect itself by protecting children, or to schedule a meeting with Henning at upcoming industry events in Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague, email tim@asacp.org.
