Hundreds Celebrate 'Baumgartners' at Adam & Eve Bash

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Amidst a frenzy of bombastic beats and psychedelic neon splendor, hundreds of adult industry celebrants filled the Ora Nightclub to capacity on Friday night, raising toasts to the premiere of Adam & Eve's "Babysitting the Baumgartners."

Helmed by XBIZ Award-winning director Kay Brandt, "Baumgartners" is the official film adaptation of erotica author Selena Kitt's New York Times and USA Today bestselling novel. The production — which XBIZ had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand — features real-life husband and wife Mick Blue and Anikka Albrite as the fictional Baumgartners, who seduce their babysitter (Sara Luvv), with AJ Applegate also getting in on the action.

"What a pleasure to have the support of the industry celebrating my film," Brandt exclaimed. Dressed to the nines, she flitted to and fro, schmoozing with attendees. "It's wonderful to honor 'Babysitting the Baumgartners' with a party like this, filled with happiness and excitement. Thank you to everyone for attending, and to Adam & Eve for believing in and supporting this movie. We are all so proud of it."

The dance floor was a veritable mosaic of gyrating silhouettes and kaleidoscopic lights casting luminous shafts through a steamy haze, all beneath the glittering tentacles of an incandescent chandelier. Even with sauna level temperatures rising ever higher on the second floor, patrons posed for photos and clinked glasses topped off by dashing bartenders.

By the time Albrite and Blue arrived, the party was lit.

"It's great seeing everybody from the cast, most of the crew and our amazing director Kay Brandt again, since we shot this amazing movie," Albrite said. "The club is as hot as the scenes in our movie! I am super happy that so many of our colleagues made it out as well. I also want to wish Will Ryder once more a happy birthday."

Blue remarked, "It's beautiful to share this evening with my wonderful wife Anikka Albrite, especially because it's the first time that we've held the book for the movie in our hands, which now features us on the cover! Thank you so much to everybody working on this project, Adam & Eve and Selena Kitt!"

Another starry-eyed couple that evening was Gamma Films' head of production Bree Mills and her beloved Luvv, who enthused, "This was a very intensive production and one that brought all of us close together during its run — I mean, a dozen sex scenes in one movie will do that! It's so nice to see how many people from the industry turned out to cheer it on. I feel really proud."

Mills also beamed with pride as she expressed, "I'm so happy to be able to attend and celebrate Sara's work in this project, along with Kay and the rest of the cast and crew. They should all be very proud of the final result! I know I'm extremely proud of Sara and can't wait to see the reaction from her fans."

Applegate, spritely and effervescent as ever, said, "I think the turn out is amazing at this premiere! I'm really excited that so many people are supportive of the movie and I really think they're going to love the way Kay portrayed the book through the movie."

The festivities continued long into the night, with scores of porn celebrities making grand entrances, including the legendary Lexington Steele with his stunning wife Savana Styles, Seth Gamble, Kenzie Taylor, Moe "The Monster" Johnson, Damon Dice, Sunny Lane, Ricky Johnson, Summer Day, Cali Carter, Zoey Monroe, Jennifer White, Jezabel Vessir, Karla Lane and so many others.

Suffice to say, Adam & Eve's "Babysitting the Baumgartners" bash was a resounding success and a memorable summer affair, that left more than a few ogling Hollywood passersby absolutely starstruck.
