WIA Power Brunch on Tap for 2016 XBIZ Berlin

WIA Power Brunch on Tap for 2016 XBIZ Berlin

LOS ANGELES — Women In Adult (WIA) has announced its hosting of an exclusive WIA Power Brunch to be held in conjunction with the inaugural 2016 XBIZ Berlin.

Presented by TrafficPartner, XBIZ Berlin takes place from Sept. 11-14 at the Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel, where European and global business leaders and industry stakeholders will gather to do business and to explore what the future of that business will look like.

With a mission to unite, inspire and empower female businesswomen working in adult entertainment, Women In Adult has a long history of supporting the behind the scenes executives in what is widely considered a male-dominated industry.

Sponsored by TrafficPartner, the “ladies only” WIA Power Brunch is set for Tuesday, September 13, from noon until 1 p.m. at the show hotel, and is the latest example of how TrafficPartner’s sponsorship of WIA empowers the industry’s women.

As the top advocate of women’s diverse roles in adult entertainment, WIA offers annual workshops, trade show events and other social gatherings designed to offer an uplifting environment for women to cultivate relationships, explore business opportunities, and to inspire one another. Each month, a select WIA member is profiled in the pages of XBIZ World, a print publication for the online adult sector, and XBIZ Premiere, a print publication for the adult video, novelty and retail sectors.

According to Webbilling’s Ines Petersen, the WIA Power Brunch will bring the Women In Adult together for some quality face time, at this latest edition of what has become a perennially popular gathering of female entrepreneurs and executives working within the industry.

“WIA Power Brunch attendees will get to experience an authentic German meal while networking with top industry women in a casual, intimate setting,” Petersen says. “It is a perfect opportunity for women to engage in industry discussions with their peers, and to share their challenges, accomplishments and upcoming game changers.”

In addition to the WIA Power Brunch, XBIZ Berlin will deliver a fresh slate of focused educational tracks that cover ad networks, cams, internationalization and webmastering, along with exclusive networking and other special events, sponsored happy hours and more.

“Following the success of the WIA Summit held earlier this year at XBIZ Miami, it only made sense to provide an opportunity for the ladies to gather on the other side of the Atlantic as well,” XBIZ Account Executive Leah Mahi explains. “Offering special socials such as the WIA Power Brunch are more examples of how XBIZ events are evolving to stay ahead of the curve.”

Located on Köpenicker Strasse, the Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel is a short walk from local attractions, such as Alexanderplatz, and Nikoleiviertel — Berlin’s hub for nightlife and entertainment.

The hotel features modernistic Berliner style, and is conveniently near the Heinrich Heine Metro Station, and provides a complimentary breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi. An on-site bar, The Kunstwerk Restaurant and a charming courtyard that serves as XBIZ Berlin’s center of activity, all contribute to the high-value that attendees will receive from this new venue.

Limited rooms are currently available at just €109 per night (~$120, U.S. dollars), which includes breakfast buffet, VAT and service charge.

Affiliates qualify for free registration at XBIZ Berlin, while members of XBIZ.net receive discounted event admission.

Stay tuned to XBIZ for upcoming details about XBIZ Berlin, including a preliminary show schedule and special event announcements.
