LOS ANGELES — YouPorn is giving Pokemon Go its own badge in response to the mobile app’s success. Released last week, Pokemon Go has become the most successful app in the Apple and Android stores.
“In Pokemon, you earn badges for defeating gym leaders,” a YouPorn spokesperson said. “YouPorn concedes the Wood Badge to Nintendo for dethroning porn as a top search term.”
According to a YouPorn representative, “Nintendo has seen its own spike in traffic, touching numbers it has not seen since 1983. There was definitely no Internet porn in that year, just the love of looking for breasts through scrambled cable boxes.”
YouPorn, founded in 2006, is now “one of the most visited websites in the world, (with) an average 1 billion video views a month,” a spokesperson said.
