NEW YORK — Dominican adult star and Bronx native Maryjean has written a new essay for the lifestyle/entertainment site Filthy Media, discussing the origins of her career as a Penthouse model and adult entertainer.
"I talk about being a poor kid from the Bronx, and how glamour and sexuality was my escape and eventually, my ticket out of the barrio," Maryjean said. "I'm very proud of where I came from. And I still live in the Bronx, where my family and true friends are. I may have a different lifestyle these days, but I'm always going to be the same girl."
