Penny Poison, Miss Mena, Rubberdoll Enjoy EDI East Victories

WEST PALM BEACH —  Penny Poison, Miss Mena and fetish model Rubberdoll were among the adult feature performers who competed in Exotic Dancer Invitationals (EDI) East, held at Monroe's in West Palm Beach, Fla. from Jun. 2-4.

Penny Poison was crowned Newcomer Division Winner, while Miss Mena was honored as a Showgirl Division winner and Rubberdoll won the Champion Division's title. All of them will go on to compete in ED Publications' 19th Annual ED Awards Show, to be held on Aug. 9 at the Harrah's Theater in New Orleans during the 24th Annual Gentlemen's Club EXPO.

"It was such an honor to be selected to perform at the EDI East Competition this year," Rubberdoll said. "All of the performers were so great, and it was a privilege just to share a stage with them. When I was announced as the winner, I was blown away. It made me feel wonderful to know that the judges liked the show and that all the hard work had paid off.  And it was extra special to have it all happen at Monroe's, which is such a classy club that I always enjoy visiting.  It's going to be amazing to perform at the ED Awards again, and I can't wait to see everyone at the EXPO."

Runner-Ups in each category included Justice and Simone Danalustrous in the Champion Division; Angel Beau and Lady Sirene in the Showgirl Division; and Reagan Reilly and Ruby Ryder in the Newcomer Division.

Mini-titles were also awarded to Simone Danalustrous for Best Overall Show, Justice for Best Dancer, Trinity Turner for Most Original Show, Angela Sommers for Hottest Body, Aria Moon for Audience Favorite, Rubberdoll for Best Costume, Penny Poison for Most Extreme Show, and Lisa Licious for Most Ambitious Show.

"Once again, the industry's 'showgirl' feature entertainers brought their energy, their enthusiasm and their skill in spades at the EDI East," said EDI Producer and Founder Dave Manack. "Each night had something special to offer: the up-and-coming Newcomer Division, the entertaining Showgirl Division, and the elite Champion Division. We also had a fantastic host club with Monroe's of Palm Beach, including owners Scott and Jennifer Lizza, GM Joe Bee and the entire staff of that amazing venue in West Palm Beach."

EDI East competing entertainers also included the talents of Phoenix Phires, Crystal Rayne, Holly Hart, Jaded Dawn, Katie Sutra and Annie Lane.
