XBIZ Announces Berlin Webmaster Show, Announces Dates

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the next evolution of its annual European webmaster conference with the launch of XBIZ Berlin, set for Sept. 11-14.

Building on five editions of XBIZ London, new host city Berlin is widely regarded as one of the most affordable and friendliest European cities for adult business.

According to XBIZ Publisher Alec Helmy, although the company has a history of serving England, it was time to relocate the conference in response to mounting pressure from U.K. governmental agencies on sexually explicit content.

“Much to everyone’s dismay, the U.K. has become very difficult for adult webmasters, causing many to close shop in fear of being heavily fined,” Helmy said. “So, we believe it is in the best interest of our attendees to move to a much friendlier environment such as Germany, which offers exponentially greater promise for both domestic and international business opportunities.”

Home to a wide range of successful adult companies, as well as a large adult webmaster community, Germany is Europe’s most vigorous market for adult commerce. Berlin’s geographic location also makes the conference more accessible to a large base of adult webmasters who reside in Eastern European.

For their part, the adult webmaster community has already voiced its overwhelming support for the new host city, with leading members of the industry praising the decision and expressing their desire to be part of the new event.

Attendees making travel plans are advised to arrive in Berlin on Sept. 11 and to depart on Sept 14.

Following XBIZ tradition, XBIZ Berlin will deliver a fresh slate of cutting-edge sessions with a strong focus on adult webmastering along with stable traditions such as networking activities, sponsored mixers and exclusive special events among other valuable offerings.

Affiliates qualify for free registration and members of XBIZ.net discounted admission. Organizers also are offering a special promotion for the new show launch of only €99, providing unmatched value to show attendees.
