LOS ANGELES — Burlesque performer Gia Nova is featured in Big World Pictures' exploitation film “Frankenstein Created Bikers,” directed by James Anthony Bickert and scheduled for release later this year.
Nova plays a vixen stripper in “Frankenstein Created Bikers,” which is a sequel to the 2011 grindhouse film “Dear God No.” A spokesperson for Nova said that “Frankenstein Created Bikers” is “about an outlaw biker who finds himself addicted to a diabolical substance and hunted by a grenade-tossing femme fatale, bounty hunters, law enforcement, a rival motorcycle gang, mutations, and a topless stripper hit squad.”
Bickert said, “Gia brings the essence of the classic Hollywood starlet from the 1940s. Her screen presence is so powerful. I wanted to use her name for the character too. I could easily see her as a seductress — especially one who would bring ruin to a man in a classic, hard-boiled film noir style. Unlike her tough character, she’s intelligent, professional, and a delight to be around. The camera lens loved her, and so will audiences.”
Nova, who also appeared in Rob Zombie’s “Halloween 2,” said, “I love taking the essence of my live show to the big screen. It takes the character I’ve created to another level, and that’s very exciting for me. The entire crew was wonderful, and I’m a big fan of Bickert. My fans will get turned on by his work, and his fans will get turned on to mine. And I love that.”
