Entrenue Debuts 'Calendar Girl' Series

PHOENIX — Entrenue is officially stocking “Calendar Girl,” a new erotic fiction series slated by publishers to be the next “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

The four-volume series follows the life of a high-end call girl and her private scenarios.

“Calendar Girl,” Entrenue said, “gives readers a dozen sexy tell-all tales in four separate volumes, each focused on the unconventional life of an ordinary young woman in desperate need of $1 million to pay off her father’s gambling debt. With a looming deadline and extreme ultimatum — get the money or Dad dies — she decides to become a high-end escort in order to build funds fast.”

The website for the series said, “My role: serve as high-priced arm candy to anyone that can afford the $100,000 price tag for a month of my company. Sex is optional (for me), and a 20% increase on the price.”

Every month brings a new adventure or an affluent client whose tastes and intimate antics gradually unfold in each of “Calendar Girl”’s 12 stories.

“Calendar Girl” author Audrey Carlan, a self-proclaimed “Fifty Shades of Grey” fan, initially self-published the series to give fellow fans a fresh source of erotic storytelling. As word spread and her fan base flourished, Carlan was contacted by Waterhouse Press to bring “Calendar Girl” to life, and now, Entrenue is bringing the series to adult retailers nationwide.

Joe Casella, president of Entrenue, said, “After getting a tip from one of our customers and then seeing a segment on ‘The Today Show’ about the plot structure, we knew ‘Calendar Girl’ had the potential to be another literary boon for our industry. The ‘Fifty Shades’ series was huge for us and inspired an entirely new demographic of adult store shoppers and erotica readers. ‘Calendar Girl’ is already slated to be a huge hit; mainstream media are even calling it the next ‘Fifty Shades.’ So it was a no-brainer to add the series to our growing book section. We can’t wait to see how kinky the characters might be.”

The first three volumes of “Calendar Girl” are available now, with the final installment coming soon.
