Tasha Jones Sponsors Transgender Erotica Awards

LOS ANGELES — Canadian transgender adult star Tasha Jones has announced her returning sponsorship of the upcoming Transgender Erotica Awards, to be held on Sunday, March 6 at the Avalon in Hollywood.

Jones is nominated in several awards, including Best Solo Model and Best FTM Scene. In the Best Scene category, she is nominated for her scene for “Club Tasha.”

“I am honored to be sponsoring the TEA awards for a third year in a row, as well as being nominated with the other sexy ladies,” Jones said. “This event is always something I look forward to attending from the great white north. The Grooby staff puts so much effort into this awards show, and it shows. It is an opportunity to get to see old friends and make new ones. I cannot wait to show off my new dress and get down and dirty on the dance floor.”

Jones will also be signing autographs for fans at the first annual TEA Con, scheduled on Saturday, March 5.

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jones was one of the first transsexual models featured on the webcam site, Video Secrets. Jones later opened her own website and has also appeared on adult sites that include Mayhem North, Canada TGirl, and Shemale Yum.

Jones’ first DVD, “Tasha’s Trashy T-Girls,” was a bestseller on AMVC.

Jones has hosted her own podcast, “On Air with Tasha Jones,” which addresses transgender issues.
