Sportsheets' Julie Stewart Named XBIZ 'Business Woman of the Year'

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets International President Julie Stewart has been named XBIZ Business Woman of the Year at the 2016 XBIZ Executive Awards.

Stewart noted that she joined her brother, CEO and founder Tom Stewart, in leading the family business more 20 years ago and has served as president since 2012. Since then, she has contributed to Sportsheets with her executive MBA from Pepperdine University and enthusiasm for “Keeping Couples Connected.”

“I am so grateful to have such an amazing team at Sportsheets and an industry that supports our hard work,” Stewart said. “It might be my name on the trophy, but this award is for all our staff who make Sportsheets possible. Without them, we wouldn’t have experienced the level of success we have achieved today.”

Tom Stewart was on hand to receive the award in Julie’s absence. “I don’t know where we would be without my sister on board to help steer this ship,” Stewart said. “Her business knowledge has taken us to new heights, and the relationships she has built with our customers has been invaluable.”

The company noted that the brother-and-sister duo is known throughout the industry for their original designs and friendly demeanor.

“As the New Year begins, I am excited to see where our innovations and team will take us next,” Julie Stewart added. “This award is just physical proof of the support we see every day from our customers and industry colleagues.”
