SHE L.A. Preview: Lynn Rosenberg Shares Tips on Senior Sex

LOS ANGELES — Baby boomers and anyone who is 50-plus and interested in jazzing up their sex lives are in for a treat when Lynn Brown Rosenberg shares her insight and tips on “Aging and Sex: Thinking Outside of the Box,” presented by Sex Ed Sponsor The Pleasure Chest, at the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) in Los Angeles on Jan. 16-17.

Rosenberg believes that the sex urge is literally an urge for life — and love — and connection, and asks why shouldn’t people continue to live and love and connect no matter what our age?

The speaker will coach SHE attendees in her workshop on opening their mind — the key to richer, fuller, more satisfying sex later in life. She maintained that it’s easy to coast along and not pay attention to blind spots. It’s easy to internalize judgments that other people have embraced, and have them influence one’s life. But if folks take another look, and open their eyes and minds they can come alive sexually and emotionally, no matter our age.

Rosenberg, a prolific writer and sought-after speaker has written many screenplays and is the author of a thriller novella, a memoir titled “My Sexual Awakening at 70” — a roller-coaster life of a woman searching for love, self-confidence, creative expression and sexual freedom — and a psychological suspense novel.  She writes a monthly column for an adult business print and online magazine, she’s done numerous podcasts, and has spoken at many conferences. She is now at work on her fourth book, a crime novel.

The sexpert is excited to be able to share her thoughts on sex and aging with SHE guests as she has in the past. She noted that each time she appears she learns something new.

“The SHE event will be my third time speaking for the organization. I am thrilled to be part of the event again and to participate in the sexually progressive and positive atmosphere. Opening our minds sexually (I know first-hand) can offer growth in ways we can only imagine, and better our lives in the process,” Rosenberg said.
