SegPay Wraps Up Successful 2015

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Online payment processing company SegPay announced today that 2015 was "an extremely good year" for them.

Celebrating a decade of service, SegPay continued to grow revenue and grow its client base while implementing new "cutting-edge system enhancements."

“Putting our clients’ interests first has always driven our company’s own success,” said Cathy Beardsley, president and CEO of SegPay. “We strive to constantly improve our service offerings and help drive revenue for our merchants.”

In 2015, SegPay completed several system enhancements:

·         SegPay unveiled a new point of sale system that contains several key features including new pay pages, enhanced postbacks and conversion rate optimization for online merchants.

·         SegPay developed fully customizable pay pages that give merchants five different templates that can be used to create custom branded pay pages.

·         SegPay increased the number of international currencies to reach an additional eight countries: The Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Danish Krona, Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, Norwegian Krona and Swedish Krona.

·         SegPay integrated with leading shopping cart providers such as Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Virtuemart, X-Cart, WooCommerce, Shopify, Cubecart, Drupal Commerce, Zencart, OS Commerce, CRE loaded, Jigoshop, WP-ecommerce, CScart and Shopp.

SegPay continues to grow allowing the company to expand its staff to support its growing client roster.  In 2015, SegPay entered into several new partnerships and landed major accounts in the high-risk credit card processing space, including Date Profits, Blacked, On The Hunt and IM Live. The company continues to accelerate its presence in rapidly expanding segments of e-commerce including online gaming.

SegPay also extended its sponsorship of Garrett Smithley, an up-and-coming NASCAR driver.  The sponsorship included both on-track and online racing, sanctioned by NASCAR. The SegPay name and official branded race truck debuted in two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Races; the NextEra Energy Resources 250 in Daytona, Fla. and the Pocono Mountains 150 in Long Pond, Pa. SegPay ended the racing season last month near its corporate headquarters at the Xfinity Ford EcoBoost 300 in Homestead, Fla. where Garrett Smithley made his XFINITY Series debut.

“Seeing the SegPay brand appear in nationally televised NASCAR races is not only exciting, it also proves just how far we’ve come in ten years,” said Jeff Rosenzweig, SegPay’s Director of Customer Experience. “We are a brand name that people associate with quality, service and precision.”

Besides Smithley, SegPay sponsors two other iRacing drivers, Danny Hansen and Michael Conti. SegPay entered iRacing as part of an effort to expand its payment-processing footprint into the online gaming industry. iRacing allows professional race car drivers, hopefuls and online gamers the opportunity to participate in official online racing simulation sanctioned by NASCAR.
