CalExotics Wins 2 Awards for Packaging

LOS ANGELES — CalExotics won two awards from the 45th Creativity Print and Packaging Awards for its Silhouette and Kits collection’s innovative packaging.

The Creativity International Design Awards have been awarding graphic design excellence since 1970. The awards are broken down into two categories — media and interactive along with print and packaging. The awards span a variety of genres and have honored many large brands including Whole Foods, MTV, Coca Cola and many others.

Susan Colvin, Founder and CEO of CalExotics, says, "It is an incredible honor to be in the same category as Coca Cola and MTV. We strive to provide exceptional products and that includes inventive packaging. Thank you to the judges for these prestigious awards.”

According to the company, Kits is a collection that combines time-proven favorites and new products segmented into three categories: His, Hers and Ours. Each kit is designed to help create a unique and enjoyable experience, alone or with a partner.

Silhouette features curves and ergonomically designed shapes. The Silhouette packaging is durable and doubles as a keepsake storage box. It offers reverse merchandising capabilities with a beautiful design on one side and a window display on the other.

“The Kits and Silhouette collections are very popular with our customers. They love the designs, functions and of course, the packaging. We’ve seen such a demand for these products that we have something special planned for the upcoming ANME show. I can’t give too much away but I can say that you don’t want to miss our both at the show,” says Jackie White, vice president of CalExotics.
