Dreamgirl Announces Halloween Social Media Campaigns

LOS ANGELES — Dreamgirl International has launched the “My Dream Halloween” Challenge on Pinterest and the “Once Upon a Giveaway” Sweepstakes on Instagram to increase consumer brand awareness for its 2015/2016 Costume Collection.

The “My Dream Halloween” Challenge is a Pinterest contest hosted by Dreamgirl’s Sugar Sugar brand of costumes for girls, tweens and teens. The contest began on Oct. 5 and allows participants to create their own boards titled “My Dream Halloween,” showing off their ideal Halloween festivities for their family. Contestants can visit the Sugar Sugar Pinterest boards and refer to the 2015 Irreverent Family Costume line for inspiration.

Participants who submit their boards by Oct. 15 are entered for a chance to win a total of four individual costumes from the Dreamgirl Irreverent Family line for his/her family. A panel at DG Brands will judge the boards based on creativity and inspiration to decide on a winner.

“Our Pinterest initiative is a new step for Dreamgirl in which we hope to show off our family friendly Sugar Sugar line and our new Dreamgirl Irreverent Family costumes,” said Lar Hovsepian, director of marketing, Dreamgirl International. “Through the challenge we hope to invoke the spirit of Halloween for the month of October, and to inspire consumers with our newest assortment of family-themed costumes!”

No purchase is required for either of the sweepstakes. Winners must be at least 18 years of age and legal U.S. residents. Other restrictions may apply. For additional details and official rules, visit https://bit.ly/DGFamilyChallenge and https://bit.ly/DGSweeps.
