HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Magic Silk is now offering customer service hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, with staff on hand to personally answer every call.

“We are not ‘one shot’ salespeople,” Magic Silk President Jeff Baker said. “It is easy to sell something once, but we are dedicated to building long-term relationships with our customers. That is a key to our success… and theirs.”

According to the company, customers will never hear a voicemail message when they call for assistance.

“Our staff is trained to be helpful, knowledgeable and, above all, courteous,” Baker said. “They are equipped with the necessary information to provide on-the-spot assistance, and empowered to make proper decisions.

“We are not just going to meet the expectations of our customers,” he said. “We are going to exceed them. If that means remaining in the office after hours in order to meet an essential customer deadline, then that is exactly what we are going to do.”

Magic Silk says its customer service mantra is “seconds to minutes.”

“Our customers need this kind of attention,” Baker says, “and they deserve it.”
