Casey Calvert Stars in Wicked Pictures’ ‘Girlfriends’

LOS ANGELES — Casey Calvert stars as a restless young girl who follows her heart in Wicked Passion’s first lesbian love story, “Girlfriends.” The film is scheduled for release on DVD August 12 from Wicked Pictures.

Calvert, who also appears on the DVD’s box cover with Scarlet Red in a steamy bathtub scene, plays the lead role in the first all-girl movie from Wicked Passions, Wicked Pictures’ line of romantic adult entertainment.

“I’m very excited about this new movie from Wicked,” Calvert said. “It’s the first all-girl release for the line, so being on the cover is a big honor and shows how much they believe in me.”

“Girlfriends” tells the story of a small-town girl, Jamie (Calvert), who made the difficult decision to tell her parents she is in a same sex relationship. Unfortunately her family does not react well to the news, and Jamie decides to visit her best friend, Sarah (Red), in Los Angeles where she meets and becomes enamored with Pam, a sexy Angeleno. Suddenly Sarah exhibits jealousy, making it seem like she wants to be more than friends with Jamie.
 
Helmed by Stormy Daniels, the movie is Daniels’ 14th title directed for the romance/couples-friendly line. 

“We’ve received great response to this line of late, and now, due to the requests from retailers and consumers, Stormy has created a lesbian Passions release written and shot in the same unique way as our heterosexual Passions titles,” said Steve Orenstein, Wicked Pictures’ president. “Casey and the rest of the cast did a fantastic job in the first of hopefully many Wicked Passions lesbian movies.”

Besides Calvert and Red, “Girlfriends” features adult stars AJ Applegate, Sasha Heart, August Ames, and Lily Cade.
