Doc Johnson Gets Mainstream Accolades

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Consumer magazine Women’s Health has named the Doc Johnson Lucid Dreams No. 14 vibrator as the best vibrator of the year in its March 2007 Sex Awards issue.

“Some multispeed vibes sound like Air Force One prepping for takeoff, but for whisper quiet, battery operated fun, the Doc Johnson Lucid Dream No.14 is top gun,” the Women’s Health write-up said. “Control the buzz level with a quick turn of the dial; no wires to get tangled up in. Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson director of product development and licensing, said he was happy to have the mainstream recognition.

“It’s always an honor to get mainstream recognition for one of our novelties, especially in a top women’s publication,” Braverman said. “Our Lucid Dreams line is very popular, and No. 14 is the best seller of the collection. The Women’s Health piece will hopefully turn more women on to a really great product.”

Published by Rodale, Women’s Health has a circulation of 450,000. It is the sister publication of Men’s Health.

The Lucid Dream No. 14 — Doc Johnson assigns numbers rather than names to the series — features a vibrating motor at the head of a four-inch-around G-spot stimulator with a tapered tip. The shaft is six inches in length. A twist control at the base allows users to adjust speed.

The Lucid Dream No. 14 comes in purple or coral.
