1st Annual Webmaster Football Match Set for XBIZ London

1st Annual Webmaster Football Match Set for XBIZ London

LONDON — The inaugural XBIZ Webmaster Football Match is set to debut at XBIZ London 2015, the U.K.’s top digital media event of the year.

XBIZ London delivers three days of unparalleled opportunities in Europe’s biggest consumer market and unites the U.K.’s adult entertainment industry with the international business community to deliver a range of exclusive insights and executive deal making opportunities that sets the stage for Europe’s fall show circuit.

The Webmaster Football Match will be an opening-day highlight of XBIZ London, scheduled for Sept. 15.

The match will take place approximately 10 minutes away from the event hotel. Participating webmasters and company executives will be provided custom jerseys featuring the individual’s name and company, enhancing the congenially competitive atmosphere.

Harmik Gharapetian, Epoch’s vice president of sales and marketing, is organizing the event.

“There are always happy hours and networking built around drinking, but we at Epoch thought we should do a sporting event that allows people to both get some fitness time in, as well as to network,” Gharapetian explains. “Epoch, along with XBIZ, is organizing a great football match at the birthplace of the sport in the U.K.”

Gharapetian tells XBIZ that Epoch began organizing football matches two years ago, and has seen the series grow in popularity.

“A lot of people are showing up at every skill level; to run around, break a sweat, and most importantly to meet some new people,” Gharapetian says. “We also have a lot of spectators who show up and just watch and mingle.”

Those interested in attending or playing can email Harmik@epoch.com or Skype him at Harmy10 for more information.

XBIZ London runs from Sept. 15-18 at the chic Hilton DoubleTree Tower of London Hotel in the heart of Old London, near the city’s financial district. This exclusive venue offers warm service, contemporary comfort and a distinctive English flair.

The venue features complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, with an iMac in every guest room, and dining options including the City Café restaurant and 12th floor rooftop SkyLounge bar that features a thrilling 360-degree view of greater London for intimate networking that fosters connections between company owners and other decision makers.

The Hilton DoubleTree Tower of London Hotel is within easy walking distance of the city’s historic center and is a short walk from the Tower Hill tube station, providing an affordable and easy option for touring this charming urban area.

The Hilton Doubletree Tower of London also offers opportunities for sponsors seeking to boost brand awareness while building buzz around new products and services, through custom-tailored sponsorship packages designed to spotlight sponsors in this upscale setting.

Attendees will benefit from XBIZ London’s all-new series of educational sessions that will help unlock the future of the U.K.’s fast-changing playing field, which is on the front line of evolving Internet regulations, such as the move for mandatory online age verification. In addition to its seminars, happy-hour meet-and-greet sessions, sponsored cocktail receptions and other networking opportunities will help attendees to build relationships at XBIZ London.

Affiliates receive free registration, while members of XBIZ.net qualify for discounted event admission.
