LOS ANGELES — One of adult's best-known MILFs, Vicky Vette, is celebrating her 50th birthday today, June 12.
Vette has amassed a considerable internet presence as an entrepreneur and webmaster. In addition to her XBIZ Award-winning official site, Vickyathome.com, Vette runs the popular VNAGirls.com Network featuring 19 official sites for stars such as Julia Ann, Nikki Benz, Puma Swede, Siri, Sara Jay and others.
She also developed her own live cam network, VNALive.com, which includes 50-plus participating official sites of solo girls worldwide. She also has more than 710,000 followers on Twitter.
"It truly blows my mind that I am hitting the big 5-0 after 12 years in porn," Vette said. "I would not be still in the game shooting without the fans who have stuck by me. Every female performer at some stage reaches a threshold decision, 'Am I too old to do this?' Knock on wood, membership at Vickyathome.com has never been higher and I am still having fun."
Vicky got her start in adult after she sent a Polaroid to Hustler for its ''Beaver Hunt" feature and became the oldest person to ever win the contest. In May 2003, she was offered and took a DP scene for Evil Angel called "The Evil Vault."
On the eve of her 38th birthday, Vette was repeatedly told by agents that she was too old to succeed in adult. Making her name in movies, Vette shot for companies like Naughty America, Danni.com and Smash Pictures, appearing in nearly 150 scenes in three years. She stopped making movies in 2006 to focus on making and owning her videos and releasing them on the internet through her own websites — a move she credits for elongating her career.
Vette has had a line of toys with Doc Johnson since 2009. Strangely, Vette has also become a household name in Indonesia, having starred in a mainstream horror movie released in that country and been featured on the front page of the news countless times.
"No doubt running my own websites is a challenge,'' she added. “I still appear live for members of Vickyathome.com, shoot original content on a regular basis and also webmaster for 18-plus other girls. Some days seem like a blur of work and computers. The most gratifying thing on my birthday is seeing how the VNA has grown.
"Two years ago we were celebrating 14 sites, now we are celebrating 19, with more on the way. If the girls had not stuck with me the network would not have been a success. I am immensely thankful to all the girls in the VNA and fans who keep me going."
As for the future, Vette said, "If my chest starts sagging to my knees it might be time to hang it up. Luckily, the fans have not started telling or tweeting me I'm over the hill on a regular basis. I have Norwegian genes, still work out hard to stay in shape and have no current plans of hanging up my thong. For now, you all have to put up with me in porn for at least a few more years.''
