B. Skow to Release Sequel to ‘Daddy’s Girls’

LOS ANGELES — Director B. Skow continues the controversial story of 2013’s “Daddy’s Girls” with themes of family dysfunction, sex addiction and incest/faux-cest in Skow for Girlfriends Films’ “Daddy’s Girls 2.” The movie ships Friday on DVD from Girlfriends Films.

"Daddy's Girls 2" stars Riley Reid, Capri Cavanni, Odile, Maddy O’Reilly, Kassondra Raine, Alec Knight, Anthony Rosano, Seth Gamble and Ryan McLane.

“Uncovering the unconventional, the dysfunctional side of life is a passion of mine that is at the heart of many of my movies,” Skow said. “‘Daddy’s Girls 2’ is an especially compelling look at a dysfunctional family and the challenges facing a young woman trying to rise above the figurative chains placed upon her.”

Written by noted writer/director David Stanley, “Daddy’s Girls 2” opens with young Quincy (Riley Reid) who returns home from a mental health facility and must now show everyone she is no longer compelled to have sex with older men, or her father, Bob (Alec Knight). But her resolve is tested when she learns Bob left her mother for his old flame, Marla (Capri Cavanni), whom he plans to marry.

Despite her jealousy over her father, Riley begins dating a man her age, while seeing a demented psychiatrist who insists she relive her past by describing it in detail for his own self-gratifying pleasure.

The movie pairs O’Reilly with Knight; Reid with Cavanni and then Gamble; Reid with Cavanni and McLane in a three-way; Knight with Raine; and Rosano with Reid.

“I'm happy to be reprising my role in ‘Daddy's Girls 2’ for Girlfriends Films. B. Skow had tweeted me a few days before the shoot: ‘Practice hating yourself all weekend to get ready for Daddy's Girls 2,’” said Alec Knight. “With B. Skow's directing and David Stanley's writing, I knew that movie was going to be a welcomed challenge for me. My character unbeknownst to him is pretty much a shit of a person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It was also great to be able to work with Riley Reid, Maddy O'Reilly, Odile, and Capri Cavanni again.”
