Ecstasy Trading Sponsors, Exhibits at YTH Live Conference

SAN FRANCISCO — Safe sex products distributor Ecstasy Trading was a sponsor and exhibitor at the 2015 YTH Live Conference, an annual conference for brands and entrepreneurs to connect with an audience of technology and health consumers.

The event was held April 26–28, at the Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco’s Japantown district.

Ecstasy Trading displayed its contraceptive and lubricant offerings at the conference, answering questions of government agencies, educational health groups, clinic representatives, and hospital officials.

Ecstasy Trading representatives Danielle Seerley and Kelly Shibari expressed the importance of offering a variety of contraceptive options to students, youth and adults alike to increase the likelihood of continued use by those engaging in sexual relationships.

“This is such an exciting time for Ecstasy Trading, as we aggressively expand into newer markets,” Seerley said. “We have always made giveback an important part of our company culture. It was so inspiring to attend this conference, which hosted not only a wide variety of domestic state and community-based organizations, but also several international attendees. To see so many people come together for a great cause made me extremely proud of the work we do at Ecstasy Trading. Sexual safety is a basic human right, and it feels good to know we are working towards providing options for those who aren't readily able to do so.”

Formerly known as SexTech, the YTH Live Conference “is committed to pursuing emerging, startling and sometimes simple technologies, which can reach young people where they are.”

“One of the things expressed at YTH this year, which really hit home, is how many organizations only offer one brand or type of condom to those visiting health clinics, both on-campus and off,” added Shibari. “By assisting organizations the opportunity to offer a variety of condoms from different brands, we actively encourage sexual partners to test condoms from different companies. Through personal testing, we hope partners can find a brand with a fit they like, which should encourage them to seek out condoms for regular use, rather than have a negative connotation with condom use.”

Since 2001, YTH has been creating, evaluating, and refining technology solutions and providing partners with proven models ready for scale and replication. It also builds the capacity of the community to advance youth health by providing research, training, idea generation, and expert advice. YTH shares its findings through its annual conference, blog and additional research.

Ecstasy Trading distributes to retail stores, pharmacies and more. In addition to condoms, Ecstasy Trading also offers lubricants, female contraceptives and more. For colleges and universities, clinics, hospitals, government health departments, and non-profits, Ecstasy Trading offers special pricing.
