SAN FRANCISCO — Women prefer to watch porn with storylines, while men prefer adult movies with themes but devoid of storylines, leading adult e-tailer GameLink.com reported in a new study. A growing number of these movies are viewed online via VOD (video-on-demand) downloads and streaming, as opposed to traditional DVD sales.
Adam & Eve’s recently-released “Marriage 2.0,” an independent film which mixes hard sex with film narrative and high production values, is atop the list of films most watched by women, GameLink said. The movie is followed by last fall’s Wicked Pictures release, “Aftermath,” which follows the story of a woman in love with a man and his adult son. In third place is Adam & Eve’s “The Surrender of O,” which touches on the growing demand for BDSM and follows the life of a woman who dives headlong into a world of submission and sex slaves.
Men, by comparison, prefer straight-up sex, delineated only by theme. Atop the list of men’s most watched adult movies is Digital Sin’s “The Family Dynamic,” which is comprised of vignettes featuring sex between stepsisters and stepmothers, proving the faux incest genre is going strong. Anal themes are also popular as Zero Tolerance’s newly-released, “My Anal Assistant 2,” featuring sexy assistants down for anything. Coming in third is 3rd Degrees’ “Strip Poker Orgy,” with all-sex vignettes featuring hot after-card game orgies. Another genre often cracking the top 10 is all-girl sex movies, like “Women Seeking Women 113” from Girlfriends Films.

While men – not surprisingly – like to see less exposition and storylines and more sexy women who are ready to hook up!”
