LOS ANGELES — Transsexual starlet Wendy Summers was invited to be a guest blogger at the Eros Guide covering the rising number of transgender issues in the media.
"There's no doubt we're seeing transgender issues raised in the public sphere with far more frequency than they've received coverage in the past," Summers said.
She added, "Societal attitudes towards transsexuals are changing for the positive, but we still have a long way to go before we have equal rights in our society. The fact that we still need to fight in the state legislatures to ensure a safe place for us to use the bathroom shows we are far from mainstream acceptance."
