Camming Con Teams With XBIZ Miami for Back-to-Back Shows

MIAMI — Camming Con is pleased to announce it has joined forces with annual online adult industry event XBIZ Miami for a full week of back-to-back business and social events with a special focus on the live cam industry.

XBIZ Miami is scheduled for June 1-4 at South Beach’s stylish SLS Hotel, with Camming Con taking over the venue from June 4-7.

Located in a prime beachfront location, SLS Hotel combines playfulness and sophistication with style, luxury and service, making it the perfect venue for the complementary events. Exclusive room rates start at $195 nightly, and reservations are available now.

According to Camming Con cofounder Clinton Cox, he and Stacey Havoc created the event to represent all segments of the live cam industry — providing a platform for businesses, fans and performers to unite, collaborate and share ideas.  Clinton has a decade of adult industry experience, including business development for Reality Kings and its sister companies, and live content production for Naked.com, which turned into a massive but low margin business for him that required high volume to achieve success.

“I realized quickly that the whole business was about finding and signing great models and somehow, some way I’ve ended up activating more than 3,200 models that have grossed tens of millions for my partners and themselves,” Clinton told XBIZ. “So, being well versed in conferences and noticing there wasn’t one for the fastest growing segment of the industry, Stacey Havoc and I pulled the trigger and announced Camming Con and we haven’t looked back since. The space was open, so we filled it.”

As for the choice of venue, he says that Miami was a natural.

“Stacey and I live in both Miami and L.A.,” Clinton explains. “We felt placing Camming Con in Miami would be a strong move because we can maneuver in the city pretty easily, but more importantly, it gave our attendees a good reason to come visit one of the hottest cities in the world.”

Clinton tells XBIZ that the inaugural Camming Con was an absolute gamble that paid off at every level, leading to high hopes for the success of this next event.

“We are very excited to produce the second year and to align our event with XBIZ Miami,” Clinton confides. “The anticipation from the models, industry and fans is so incredibly positive that we are now working on delivering the best experience to all the attendees.  We set the bar pretty high year one, so we have our work cut out for us, but we are excited and ready for the challenge!”

The choice of scheduling back-to-back shows with XBIZ Miami provides Camming Con with a unique opportunity for reaching a premier audience of online adult industry professionals.

“By coinciding with XBIZ Miami, Camming Con can not only reach the industry’s top movers and shakers, but present even greater opportunities to the large population of talent within the Miami area and beyond,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy says. “Bridging B2C and B2B with a focus on one of adult’s most vibrant market segments, Camming Con and XBIZ Miami are a winning combination.”

Stay tuned to XBIZ for upcoming details about Camming Con and XBIZ Miami, including the launch of the official show websites and special event announcements.
