Video: Seniors Try on VR Porn

LOS ANGELES — Following last week’s breakout video revealing its employees first-time reactions to seeing VR porn, Complex Media has released a new video, this time showing seniors’ response to the leading edge of porn technology.

According to a Complex Media rep, the company produces “entertaining videos that bring to life its authoritative take on trendsetting music, sneakers, style, pop culture, video games, tech, cars, and art — featuring your favorite celebrities from the past, present, and future.”

“Complex is a community of creators and curators, armed with the Internet, and committed to surfacing and sharing the voices and conversations — both multi-culture and multicultural — that define our new America,” says the spokesperson, adding, “We make culture pop.”

Demonstrating consumer’s first reactions to VR porn, Complex Media recently used the new Samsung Gear VR headset to show employees how porn is taken to the next level using this new technology, filming the session for a YouTube video.

The experiment revealed that female participants seemed more enthusiastic in their appraisal, saying that the technology is a game changer that can “eliminate the need for human interaction altogether,” while their male counterparts seemed more subdued.

In an effort to expand its survey’s demographic reach, Complex repeated the exercise with an older group of test subjects, whose reactions have been described as “even creepier,” with one old gent close to revealing something a bit too personal to the YouTube audience as a result of being over-stimulated.

Oculus Rift was a highlighted technology at the recent XBIZ 360 event in Hollywood, with several top-tier companies, including Fleshlight/Kiiroo and RedLightCenter.com parent Utherverse showing how the device integrates with haptics and virtual worlds to shape the present and future of adult entertainment.

Doubtless other firms will follow their lead, with some forward-looking adult content producers, such as Huccio, now shooting material that takes advantage of VR headsets’ 360-degree video capabilities.
