LOS ANGELES — Director Alexander DeVoe announced that he is spearheading a medical fundraising campaign on GoFundMe.com to help adult performer Wesley Pipes who has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and is going to be undergoing treatment.
Pipes and his family will have to pay for the long and expensive treatment.
“I was both shocked and saddened to learn about Wesley’s cancer. We have been friends and associates for quite some time now," Devoe said.
He added, "Cancer is a real beast, but Wesley is a strong person, and I know he will put up one helluva fight. Wesley has always been selfless and giving, and has helped countless others. So, in his time of need it’s only fitting that we as an industry come together to help one of our own. Please donate whatever you can to the fund that has been set up in his name."
