LOS ANGELES — Not long after TLC redneck reality show “Her Comes Honey Boo Boo” was yanked from TV after it was revealed that star Mama June is hooking up with a convicted child molester, Vivid Entertainment is offering the show’s matriarch $1 million to perform in a celebrity sex tape with her former live-in mate, Sugar Bear (Mike Thompson).
TMZ reported that Vivid boss Steven Hirsch sent a letter to Mama June (Shannon) with the offer saying that the studio’s BBW tapes have become a very popular genre on Vivid.com and VividTV and he would make the couple’s experience “enjoyable” for them both.
Hirsch said the pair could earn $1 million or more and have creative input.
But Shannon today said she'd never do the film. "I have more respect for myself and my kids and my family. It ain't happening, not even for a zillion dollars."
According to reports, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” was cancelled in October over the controversy, although Shannon disputed that she was dating Mark Anthony McDaniel, Sr., the man convicted of molesting her oldest daughter Anna Cardwell when she was only eight years old.
At post time Vivid told XBIZ there’s been no further developments regarding the offer.
