Webstream Upgrades Live Cam Site

LONDON — Webstream has announced the newest enhancements to their live cam chat solution: the ability for models to accept tips via a new “Donations” tool and a “Free Webcam Rooms” option for increased model exposure and visibility.

According to the company, it is now easy for live cam performers to receive tips from their viewers, with clients not only able to submit their desired tip bonus, but also able to personalize their donation with their name, email address and a message.

“We have learned from our models and studio operators that by giving their clients the ability to personalize their tips they can better discern who to give their time to, which usually translates into more money,” said Webstream co-founder Ben Clark. “Viewers also like to give tips as their way of showing the performers how special they are to them.”

In addition to the new tipping feature, Webstream now offers a “Free Rooms” option that lets clients enter webcam sessions without the need to buy credits, giving both performers and clients the chance to chat, flirt and assess whether or not they want to go into a paid group or private chat session.

“The way we see it, the models are the ones who should be rewarded the most for their hard work,” Clark adds. “They are the ones with the fan bases, the followings, and we want to do everything we can to empower them to make as much money as possible.”

Webstream has been nominated for the 2015 XBIZ Award for “Software Company of the Year.”
