Vivid Radio Celebrates 1st Anniversary With On-Air Bash

LOS ANGELES  — Vivid Radio, the radio broadcast division of  the adult film company Vivid Entertainment, is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Nov. 18.

The station can be heard at VividRadio.com  and via the SiriuisXM app and channel 791.

The Vivid Radio Network was initially launched with six hours of daily programming and availability only through SiriusXM subscribers in the U.S.  One year later, the service has expanded to eight hours of original programming daily hosted by a roster including Vivid Girls and other adult actresses. The network now reaches fans internationally online.

Vivid Radio will celebrate its anniversary with an on-air bash hosted by its network personalities, including Tera Patrick, Christy Canyon, Tanya Tate, Tori Welles, Monique Alexander, Ash Hollywood, Annie Cruz, Alexis Texas, Brandy Aniston, Mary Carey, Joanna Angel, Ashley Blue, Nicki Hunter, Sam Phillips, Aiden Starr, Alexis Amore, April Flores and Jelena Jensen.

“We launched Vivid Radio with great enthusiasm that has only gotten stronger in the past 12 months,” said Farrell Hirsch, general manager of Vivid Radio. “We knew it was ambitious to start with an entire network of shows, but we couldn’t resist because of the extraordinary talent available.  We now have over 20 shows and each one has a gorgeous porn star host and its own fan base. Our team is definitely excited about what we’ve accomplished and what the future holds.”

The anniversary broadcast starts with “Hot Stream” from 11 a.m. to noon, and a “best of show” round-up from the day before.

Live programming starts at noon and at 2 p.m. there will be a champagne toast to mark the exact moment the network was launched last year.
