Rope Expert Teaching at Portland Academy of Sex Education

PORTLAND, Ore. — Rope expert, author and intimacy coach, Stella Harris, will teach Introduction to Rope Bondage at the Portland Academy of Sex Education on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. PT

Harris will demonstrate basic rope and bondage safety, along with how to create the single column tie, double column tie, and a simple chest harness.

In addition to basic safety, students will learn how to use rope to build intimacy and connection while tying. Class discussion includes safety, communication, tying technique, and pleasure as a holistic part of rope bondage, instead of treating these subjects as separate discussions.

Supervised hands-on rope tying practice will be part of the instruction. Students can attend with a partner, but those attending alone may be able to pair off with other students to practice, and most ties from the class can also be practiced solo.
