Courtney Trouble's 1st Film for Smash Pictures to Debut Sept. 17 on VOD

LOS ANGELES — Smash Pictures has unveiled the trailer for queer director Courtney Trouble’s “San Francisco Lesbians 1: SCISSR Sex App,” marking her first film for the studio's Pink Velvet label.

Set to stream on AEBN Sept. 17 and release on DVD Oct. 2, Trouble’s “San Francisco Lesbians” takes viewers to a plausible alternative reality where lesbians have their own highly effective hook-up app, "SCISSR," designed by longtime married couple Courtney Trouble and Maxine Holloway.

“This is going to change everything for lesbians!” Holloway exclaims as she and Trouble launch the app for the first time.

Trouble and Holloway can (visually) track the app's success at hooking up horny S.F. lesbians, and gleefully watch as Ella Nova starfucks the notorious Kinky Gaga, Minnie Scarlet searches for an older, experienced woman to show her how to properly do S.F., and Daisy Ducati crosses paths with Dylan Ryan during their morning jogs.

The app seems to be working for everyone but Trouble and Holloway, who posted a profile of their own seeking a new girl to transform their relationship into a triad. Right as they are about to give up, Siouxsie Q's profile blinks on the screen. But they wonder, have they found their true lesbian love, or was it just another tale of lonely lesbian cruising?

The film features hardcore strap-on action, squirting, threeways, performers of size (and dangerous curves) and alternative aesthetics.

“We’re quite pleased with how this film turned out,” Smash Pictures Vice President Stuart Wall said. “Courtney came up with a clever script revolving around a new lesbian pickup app for cell phones. We captured all of S.F.’s hot spots, cruising spots and outdoor segments.”

“This release is one of a kind and truly stands out on its own,” he added.

Trouble signed a contract with Smash in April to produce and direct movies for its new lesbian-themed label, Pink Velvet.

“There are very few lesbian porn companies that are really focused on having a queer director,” Trouble said at the time. “So I think it’s really cool they asked me to do something authentic.”

Shot in HD, the "San Francisco Lesbians" DVD comes with the option watch with the storyline intact or as an all-sex version.

The hardcore trailer is available for Windows, Quicktime and as a free iPad/iPhone trailer.
