Alana Evans to Cover Comic-Con for High Times Magazine

SAN DIEGO — Adult film star Alana Evans has announced that she will serve as a special correspondent for High Times Magazine at the San Diego Comic-Con International.

According to its promoters, the 44th annual San Diego Comic-Con International is the largest Comic-Con convention in the world, reportedly drawing crowds of more than 130,000 attendees.

This year is set to be the largest Comic-Con ever, with badges said to have been sold out within the first 24 hours.

“For me as a gamer, covering Comic-Con for High Times is like the Holy Grail,” Evans explains. “I have had such an amazing time contributing to High Times with my column ‘The Stoned Gamer’ and the magazine has told me that my reviews are receiving a ton of traffic. Also, a lot of the column’s readers have commented they are buying the games that I cover based on my reviews, so to have a major publication like High Times put their faith in me and send me down and cover the largest comic book convention on the planet, is a tremendous honor for me.”

The San Diego Comic-Con begins with a preview night on Wednesday, July 23, starting at 6:00 p.m., with sneak peek screenings of films including “The Flash,” “Constantine,” “iZombie,” and “Teen Titans Go.”

The regular show schedule runs from Thursday, July 24 to Saturday, July 27.

Alana will be covering the main convention, gamer news, announcements and more which will be published on HighTimes.com. She will also be live tweeting from the show so her fans in attendance will be able to meet her in person, take pictures and get an autograph.
