OhMiBod Announces National 'blueMotion' Events

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — OhMiBod today announced national “blueMotion” events in July to introduce its remote-controlled vibrator and wi-fi enabled OhmiBod Remote smartphone app.

The events will take place at Babeland in New York City on July 24, and Good Vibrations in Palo Alto, California on July 31.

OhMiBod said blueMotion and the OhMiBod Remote app helps couples stay connected, even when they’re physically apart. The Wi-Fi-enabled app allows users to remotely control their partner’s vibrator with a simple stroke on the smartphone, taking phone sex to the next level. Couples can enjoy real-time control using blueMotion from any location.

Users can create an unlimited number of vibration patterns using five functionalities including: voice-to-vibration, touch control, tap and save, accelerometer, and preset patterns. As an added bonus, the iconic blue heart will blink and throb to the vibration patterns that your partner is enjoying.

OhMiBod founders, Suki and Brian Dunham said they originally created the OhMiBod Remote App because they kept hearing stories about couples spending more and more time cuddling up with their smartphones and less time being intimate with each other. The husband and wife team decided it was time to create a technology that empowers people to share an enhanced level of intimacy, even over long distances.

“We all know that technology can drive people apart,” Suki Dunham said. “We’ve created something that uses your digital devices to bring you closer together — no matter how far apart you are physically.”

An ongoing crowd funding campaign has also been launched on Indiegogo.com to raise funds for blueMotion. With the added funding, the creators will be able to add functionality that will allow users to snap and send pictures while using the in-app sexting feature.

Babeland SOHO is located at 43 Mercer St., New York, N.Y., 10013. The Babeland event starts at 7 p.m. Good Vibrations is located at 534 Ramona St., Palo Alto, California. The free Palo Alto event will be held from 7-9 p.m. where there will be hors d’oeuvres and beverages served as well as six chances to win a free blueMotion.
