Bonnie Feingold Featured in NYMag.com

SAN FERNANDO, Calif. — BuildTheStore.com, one of the industry’s leading easy ecommerce solutions, was featured in New York Magazine’s The Cut article “Meet the Avon Ladies of Sex Toys.”

The article spotlighted several Build the Store customers along with an interview with Honey’s Place and Build the Store’s President and CEO Bonnie Feingold.

According to the piece, “Build the Store was initially created to be a tool for our brick-and-mortar customers.”

“Since the company’s launch”, Feingold said, “we have expanded our platform to ecommerce entrepreneurs, home party planners and people who are looking for a second income. We get many different people who are interested in starting something for themselves and finding success.”

New York Magazine describes Feingold as a “folksy,” down to earth person when speaking about her role at Honey’s Place and Build the Store. Feingold also talks about her journey from being a social worker and taking over Honey’s Place when her mom died of breast cancer in 2003.

“People would think, Wow, social work to selling adult toys?” Feingold continued. “The thing is, I still feel like I’m helping couples and I’m helping people, and I’m helping enhance their lives.”
