Elegant Angel Names Drew Kennedy President, Gabriel Guzman COO

LOS ANGELES — Elegant Angel has named Premiere Sales Group President and proprietor, Drew Kennedy, and So-Cal Wholesale Distribution owner Gabriel Guzman as its new president and COO, respectively.

Effective immediately, the duo will handle every aspect of the studio’s management and day-to-day operations, with Kennedy focusing on foreign and domestic sales, international licensing and broadcast development worldwide.

“With Drew and Gabriel on board, Elegant Angel is going to do better than it ever has,” Elegant Angel founder and owner Patrick Collins said. “They’re passionate guys with vision and drive —successful and respected businessmen; the kind of team Elegant Angel needs to continue to grow its legacy. We have a talented group of directors and a committed in-house staff that have worked diligently this past year to maintain the Elegant Angel brand, and are ready and eager to support Drew and Gabriel in what comes next — and let me tell you, we got lots of surprises.”

Kennedy brings with him more than 15 years of adult industry experience. At 18, he got his start in 2000 working at the Premiere Sales Group warehouse for brother-in-law Keith Repult and sister Samantha, then-owners of the California-based distribution company. Kennedy soon ascended to a career in sales, where on the strength of his word and business acumen he quickly built an impressive account base. In 2013, he purchased Premiere Sales Group from the Repults.

“I was pretty shocked that Patrick would bring this opportunity to me,” Kennedy said. “I consider myself a regular Joe. To have Pat offer me something that big players in the industry get offered… I’m just speechless. The man’s a mad scientist; he’s one of the founding fathers of this business. With Patrick’s guidance, we plan to build on the Elegant Angel name, producing the quality product people expect, while pushing it creatively and increasing its reach on every distribution platform available.”

Guzman is an eight-year industry veteran and proprietor of So-Cal Tattoo, So-Cal Vape Lounge, Starbar Wholesale, and Guzman Investment and Loans. “This industry has been very good to me, but I was practically out the door when Drew brought this to me,” Guzman said. “I couldn’t pass it up. Elegant Angel has always been one of the top studios. It would be an honor to help run things with my buddy, Drew. My other business ventures are on the backburner; I’m ready to take this head-on 100%. Not to pat myself on back, but I’m a good business man—I don’t fail. I know that together with Drew and Pat we’re going to keep this company on top.”

Collins, who is in the midst of ongoing divorce, will continue to head Elegant Angel until a settlement is reached in the proceedings. “My intention is not to stay in this business,” Collins said. “The court ordered me to run this company, and run it properly. That’s what I’m going to do. Drew and Gabriel are going to help me, and they’re going to do a fantastic job. They will come in every day and make sure we’re firing on all cylinders. When I leave Elegant Angel, it’s still going to be a leader in this industry.”

Elegant Angel is actively producing new movies with directors MimeFreak, Toni Ribas, Carlos Dee, Asa Akira and Tori Black, who made her directorial debut in June with an exclusive Alina Li scene for ElegantAngel.com. Movie production is now slated for one new release a week. All videos will once again include five scenes.

Founded in 1990, pioneering gonzo studio Elegant Angel is one of the most recognized brands in adult. The company produces high-end gonzo, specializing in niche-oriented content including anal, gangbang, MILF, and squirting.

Elegant Angel was named Studio of the Year in 2012 and Gonzo Studio of the Year in 2011 by XBIZ. Flagship series include: “Best New Starlets,” “Big Wet Asses,” “Big Wet Tits,” “The Bombshells,” “Buttwoman,” “Cuties,” “Gangbanged,” “Performers of the Year,” “Slutwoman,” and “Squirtwoman.” The studio also produced two of adult cinema’s most critically acclaimed features: “Wasteland” and “Portrait of a Call Girl.”
