LAKE TAHOE, Nevada — Romantic Adventures, a Lake Tahoe-based lingerie and clothing boutique, has announced an extensive social media launch beginning this month: The company's Facebook, YouTube, Google+ and Twitter feed simultaneously debuted today.
“It’s been a long time coming,” said Rena Bassett, co-owner of Romantic Adventures. “We think social media is the natural extension for our trademark customer service. To be able to take the Romantic Adventures brand and philosophy directly to our customers through this uniquely personal medium has us all very excited.”
Romantic Adventures will begin daily administration on all their social media channels with product information posts, sales specials, videos, educational materials and exclusive promotions. The company will supplement its existing emphasis on product knowledge and customer service with the new social media presence, a company rep said.
Located inside the Montbleu Resort Casino, Romantic Adventures’ rep added that while it has found success focusing primarily on in-store traffic, the time was right for an online push.
“Admittedly, I’m a social media newbie,” Romantic Adventures co-owner Bill Bassett said. “But there are a lot of opportunities for Romantic Adventures to serve our customers better and provide them with more value using social media applications — so that’s what we’re going to do.”
