2nd Annual ThaiFest Reports Successful Show

THAILAND — The Annual ThaiFest Novelty Expo has reported a successful show in its second outing.

The show gathered Russian wholesalers and retailers and leading adult manufacturers from all over the world at the Khao Lak Seaview Resort & Spa in the Kingdom of Thailand from Feb. 14-20.

"It’s safe to say now that ThaiFest has become a great traditional event in our industry. As last year, ThaiFest was held on hot and hospitable land of Thailand providing a stunning opportunity to work and relax for all festival participants. The only people who didn’t have time to relax were the team of organizers,” said Leonid Fishman, President of ThaiFest and owner of Astkol-Alfa.

This year’s sponsors included Topco Sales, Doc Johnson, Shirley of Hollywood, MD Science Lab, JimmyJane, Svakom (USA) DanaLife (Denmark), Softland Sp.z.o.o., FHU Matar (Passion) (Poland), Eau Zone Huiles & Fragrances (Shunga) (Canada), Leloi AB (Sweden), Korea Toy (South Korea), Diogol (France), Inverma (Germany), HOT (Austria), Baile (China), Protek, Rosparfum, Klubnichka, JSMedical, Le Frivole Costume (Russia) and Nature Touch (Thailand).

“From the financial perspective, the costs of different kinds of festivals, exhibitions are quite tangible and one of the tasks of the financial department is to minimize the costs. But there are things that you cannot economize on, such as health and education. Looking at ThaiFest-2014, I realized how important it is for the development of our industry,” said Natalia Skovorodova, organization committee member and CFO of Astkol-Alfa.

Attendees had the opportunity to see new products for the Russian market, and were allowed a new sales opportunity for already well known brands, the organizers noted.
