HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Award-winning adult director Will Ryder has completed principal production on Smash Pictures’ “American Hustle XXX a Parody” starring Penny Pax, Aaliyah Love, Tommy Gunn, Ryan McClane and many others.
Set in the seventies amidst a moral climate more perilous than its necklines, “American Hustle” takes an up-close look at the bizarre ABSCAM sting that pitted two con-artists, at the behest of an FBI agent, against prominent politicians. Packed with sexual intrigue and lubricated with cocktails, the Hollywood version was especially ripe for hardcore adaptation.
Penny Pax and Aaliyah Love play the female leads, Sydney Prosser and Rosalyn Rosenfeld, originally portrayed by Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence, respectively. Veteran performer Tommy Gunn stars as Irving Rosenfeld, the con artist played by Christian Bale; and Ryan McClane takes Bradley Cooper's FBI agent Richie DiMaso and strips him bare — literally.
Love (Rosenfeld’s wife) and Pax (Rosenfeld’s lover and partner in crime) vie for the aging Brooklynite’s affection.
“American Hustle,” picked up ten Academy Awards nominations, giving the parody stars a high benchmark to aspire to for the upcoming XXX awards season.
"I loved every minute on the set with these fantastic actors and working with Will Ryder is a real pleasure," Love said. "I didn't care that we were still shooting the final day at three in the morning because it just felt really good."
"It's pretty obvious why Will Ryder and Scott David (co-producer) stand in the winner's circle at the awards shows, because they really know how to put an entertaining movie together," Pax added. "I'm so happy I was a part of this."
Van Wylde, co-starring as the infamous Mayor Carmine Polito, said he was particularly impressed with the attention to detail — from the clothes to the set to the script — paid by the X-Play crew.
"I love my cast and this was a very big involved movie to shoot and we're all exhausted," Ryder said. "I'm so happy with the effort and sexual performances of our cast, as they took this movie to places I could have only imaged in my mind. Our crew is so dedicated and I thank them as well."
Joining the leads are Luna Star, Rio Lee, Carter Cruise, Mia Austin, Tommy Pistol, Kurt Lockwood, Eric John, Frank Bukkwyd, James Bartholet, Jack Vegas and Will Ryder, who makes a rare on-screen cameo.
