LOS ANGELES — Adult film star Alana Evans will be appearing on HLN/CNN at 12:30 p.m. PST today, marking her sixth time on the cable news network.
Evans will appear live via Skype and share her thoughts with host Mike Galanos about "the new trend of social porn." Sites such as Pinsex and Pornostagram have been growing in recent months, and some say they are further bridging the gap between mainstream and the adult industry. What was once considered taboo is now evolving.
"The amount of these sites are increasing everyday," Evans said. "Regular people years ago who never thought that they could even send a naked picture of themselves to someone they trusted are now joining these social networks and sharing more than just a picture of what they had for breakfast. It is fascinating and I am honored that they invited me to share my opinion on this growing trend."
Evans appeared on HLN last month as a guest on "Dr. Drew On Call," speaking about her journey into the adult industry and her longevity.
