LOS ANGELES — Girl Crush Films, a studio reportedly helmed by “filmmakers who are creating high-end media for girls who like girls and for guys that like girls that like girls,” is set to makes its DVD debut this spring.
Beginning with an initial offering of one high-end gonzo release per month, the studio vows to rapidly increase its output, and hopes to extend beyond gonzo titles to romance, features and parodies — all all-girl.
The company objective is to become the industry’s leader in all-girl adult content.
A company spokesperson offered, “Our unique, high-end products will help fill a void in the adult DVD marketplace for premium all-girl content.”
The spokesperson explained that details regarding the venture will remain hush-hush until the DVD distribution channels, as well as broadcast and Internet avenues, are “set in stone.”
“Although imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, we are just trying to get out of the gate before the flattery begins,” another company insider said.
